Pretty Little Ladies {family + 6 month}

I always look forward to photographing this sweet family! In fact, this was my fifth session with them to date. I just LOVE watching families grow! Well boy, did the weatherman have us on our toes for this session! All week the forecast had been predicting a weekend-long downpour. Set on the date, we decided to run with it and embrace the rain. Armed with fun rain gear and clear umbrellas as props, we were just starting to look forward to some very Seattle-esque shots - particularly of the girls' (yep, these cuties are identical twins!) favorite rainy day activity, puddle jumping. Imagine our surprise that morning when we woke to no rain, and back to plan 'A'. What a pleasant surprise!

Grant is One! {family + one year}

It's hard for me to believe that it's been an entire year since my first session with this family for little Grant's newborn shoot! Both he and big brother, Hunter, have grown up SO much since then, and I have been so lucky to photograph them along the way. One of highlights of this session for me was finding out mommy is due with baby #3 (a girl!) in January. I wonder if she'll inherit that gorgeous blond hair just like her brothers?!
 

Love Story {engagement}

I am so in love with how completely in love these two are! This gorgeous couple will be tying the knot in January, but get this - their engagement session was the last time they will see each other until the big day! Wild, right? Originally from Florida, they are both in the military and stationed in different states. The bride-to-be happened to be in the area to interview for the medical residency program at Fort Lewis (clearly this girl has no shortage of brains or beauty!), so the groom-to-be jumped on a flight all the way from Georgia just to spend a free day with her. Yes, a single day. It was beautiful watching these two treasure every moment together - every smile, every touch - in a way that most take for granted. To say they are madly in love would be a huge understatement! Their chemistry was practically tangible. It was a complete honor to get to spend a few precious hours with this sweet couple to capture their engagement session!
