Sassy Miss Stella... oh, and her family too

These folks are among my favorite families to photograph. Not only are they ridiculously photogenic, but they're always game for locations that are a little outside of the box. On this gorgeous (but ridiculously freezing!) day, we shot their family portraits along the side of the old Red Brick Road in Redmond. Per the usual, what started out a family session quickly turned into what I call a "Stella session"! This munchkin is SUCH a little ham and bursting with personality. I'd like to point out that these poses are ALL her! In fact, her mom told me that she'd been brainstorming poses days prior to our session. Mark my words, this gorgeous girl is destined for the big screen one day!

Hunter is 4!

I cannot believe this big guy is already 4 - and boy, has he really come out of his shell! In the past Hunter was fairly reserved and a little on the shy side, but during "his" session he was ALL smiles. I loved it! Of course with the holidays just around the corner, we made sure to get some family and sibling shots as well. :-)

The K family

This beautiful family were such troopers!! Not only did we have to wrap-up about 20 minutes into their portrait session due to a torrential downpour, but when we met up again to complete the session, the temperature was hovering right around freezing! Don't let the sun and those giant smiles fool you, it was cooold! I really cannot get over how well these adorable kiddos did, particularly given the circumstances. We even got a few one-year shots of miss L, whose birthday is just around the corner!
